i i INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER LEVY BILL NO. 7588 ORDINANCE NO. 5384 6 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, t PA (PUBLIC ACTIVITY) TO P-RO (PLANNED RESIDENTIAL-OFFICE), AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. i WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University a City (University City Zoning Code) divides the City into several districts and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in each of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises located therein may 3 be put; and F WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the classification of the property herein described; and WHEREAS, due notice of the public hearing to be held by the City Council in the Council Chamber at 6:40 P.M. on the 25th day of April, 1983, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City, on the 20th day of April, 1983; and f s WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held at the time and place specified in said notice, and all suggestions and objections concerning said f d change in classification of the said property were duly heard and considered by the Council. E NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: s Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. 4591, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the classification from PA (Public E r Activity) to P-RO (Planned Residential-Office) of the following described P property, to-wit: WARD SCHOOL TRACT A tract of land being part of Lot 9 of "Eliza Clemens Estate Subdivision" according to the plat thereof f recorded in Plat Book 2 page 42 of the St. Louis County Records and part of "University Heights", a subdivision ' according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 6 pages 14 and 15 of said County Records, said tract being in U. S. Survey 378, Township 45 North, Range 6 East, St. Louis County, Misssouri, and being more particularly described as follows: E
