NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the acceptance of the afore- <br /> mentioned grant-in-aid, Grantor hereby grants an easement, for a period of 20 <br /> years from date of execution hereof, by which Grantor covenants and agrees to <br /> maintain, repair and administer the aforedescribed premises so as to preserve <br /> the historical integrity of the features, materials, appearance, workmanship <br /> and environment; and during the term of easement Grantor, or its successor in <br /> interest, if any, agrees to give the State of Missouri, by and through its <br /> Director, Deparmtent of Natural Resources, or any successor agency, the first <br /> right of refusal in the event at some future time Grantor shall wish to sell <br /> the above described properties; and Grantor covenants and agrees to <br /> administer the structure on the aforedescribed premises so that the public <br /> has access to the interior no less than twelve (12) days a year, on an <br /> equitably spaced basis, and at other times by appointment; and the State of <br /> Missouri, by and through its Director, Department of Natural Resources, and <br /> any successor agency, or any reresentative lawfully delegated the authority <br /> to act for such Director, and any successor agency, shall have the right to <br /> prevent or stop the violation of any covenant or restriction herein <br /> described, or to require the performance of such conditions or requirements <br /> as are herein imposed, by injunction or other legal or equitable procedure, <br /> and to send restitution for any loss resulting from such violation or failure <br /> of perf ormance. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of University City, County of St. <br /> Louis, State of Missouri, hereunto sets its hand, the day and year first <br /> above written. <br /> CITY OF UNIVERSITY CIT <br /> 4, <br /> ATTEST.: <br /> CITY CLERK <br /> STATE OF MISSOURI ) <br /> SS <br /> COUNU OF,,,ST.
