WiiEI{EAS, the ELL}- Clcx~, upon receiving said Development }qan for the Parkview Gardens Redevelopment Area (which is attached hereto as Exhibit A, incorporated herein by reference, and hereafter referred to as the "Plan") forwarded the Plan to the City Plan Commission for its review and recommendation; and WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission has filed with the City Clerk its reconunendation and report recommending that the 'Project Area be declared blighted, that the Plan be approved since redevelopment of the Project Area is necessary and desirable to effectuate the purposes, heretofore mentioned, in the public interest, and since the public facilities are, and will be adequate for the Project Area; and WHEREAS, the Plan is found to be in full compliance with Ordinance 5085 of the City of University City and Chapter 353 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, 1978, as amended, and is in the public interest and serves a public purpose; and WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published, the City Council did hold a public hearing on the 24th day of'September, 1984, and all comments and statements were duly Council of University City; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED UNIVERSITY CITY AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
