NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVER- SITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 . The work of improving Trenton Avenue, extending from Harrison Avenue to Lamb Avenue in Blocks 3 and 6 of Meridian Subdivision, by R & E Asphalt Service, Inc., contractor, ordinances and the laws of the State of Missouri thereto pertaining, and the certificate of the Director of Public Works accepting the work done by R & E Asphalt Service, Inc. for the improve- ment of Trenton Avenue and other work incidental to the improvement, and said Director of Public Works' certificate of the computations of the "IThole Cost" of the work embraced in the completed project, which computations determined the amount to be paid by a special assessment or tax against the abutting properties and by cash by the City of University City, is hereby approved, said certificate being in words and figures as follows: TO THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI SIR: This is to certify that the R & E Asphalt Service, Inc. , contractor, has completed the said work of improving Trenton Avenue between herein said limits, designated as Project No. 771 under their contract with the City of University City, Missouri, dated .the 10th day of September, 1984, and that I have accepted the same as having been done according to the stipulations and specifications forming a part of said .contract and that the completed work has been measured and the various quantities have been calculated at the unit prices named in said contract. The "Whole Cost" of the completed improvement, inclusive of expenses to University City for engineering and contingencies is SEVENTY TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED THIRTY SEVEN and 20/100 DOLLARS ($72,437.20), and is set forth in detail in the following itemized statement: 3
