Section 5. From and after May 15, 1985, initially payable May 31, 1985, <br /> the Battalion Chiefs of the Fire Department shall receive a bonus payment for the <br /> eight legal holidays of the City and in lieu thereof for part of Christmas Eve, <br /> in accordance with the following: <br /> In Pay Grade Per Holiday Per Christmas Eve <br /> 18F $51 $24 <br /> f <br /> Section 6. From and after May 15, 1985, initially payable May 31, <br /> 1985, the commissioned personnel in the Police Department, but excluding the <br /> Chief and Assistant Chief, in the pay grades shown, shall receive a bonus payment <br /> for the following days: Memorial Day (last Monday in May), Veteran's day <br /> (November 11), Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November), part of Christmas <br /> Eve (December 24) and Christmas Day (December 25); in accordance with the follow- <br /> ing schedule: <br /> In Pay Grade Per Holiday Per Christmas Eve <br /> 12P $42 $21 <br /> 16P 45 22 <br /> 18P 51 24 <br /> Section 7. For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1984, on a one year <br /> trial basis, the commissioned personnel in the Police Department, but excluding <br /> the Chief and Assistant Chief, shall receive four (4) personal recreation days, <br /> per year, in lieu of the bonus payment for the following four (4) City holidays: <br /> f <br /> New Year's day (January 1); George Washington's birthday (third Monday in 5 <br /> February); Independence Day (July 4); and Labor Day (First Monday in September). <br /> All four personal recreation days must be taken before June 30, 1985, or shall be <br /> forfeited. <br /> Section 8. A) From and after May 15, 1985, initially payable May 31, <br /> 1985, the commissioned Police personnel excluding the Chief, in the pay grades <br /> shown, shall receive compensation for five years consecutive City service, <br /> excepting military leave of absence, in their present classification in the <br /> following amounts, from the sixth (6th) year through the tenth (10th) year: <br /> F <br /> In Pay Grade Monthly Amount <br /> 12P $44 <br /> 16P 49 <br /> 18P 57 <br /> 21P 68 <br /> 6 <br />
