WHEREAS, the Authority has prepared an Amended plan which has been <br /> referred to the City Council for their review and approval; the Amended Plan <br /> being dated December 11, 1985; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Amended Plan contains substantial modifications to the <br /> previously approved Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS said Amended Plan has been approved by the Board of Commission- <br /> ers of the Authority; and <br /> WHEREAS, a general plan has been prepared and is recognized and used as <br /> a guide for the general development of the City as a whole; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, which is the duly designated and act- <br /> ing official planning body for the locality, has submitted to the Authority its <br /> recommendations concerning the redevelopment proposed by the Amended Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the report of the City <br /> Plan Commission and its recommendation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Authority has accompanied its recommendation of the Amended <br /> Plan to the City Council by a statement of the proposed method and cost of <br /> acquisition and preparation for redevelopment and the estimated proceeds or <br /> revenues to be derived from the disposition of any land acquired under the <br /> Amended Plan; the proposed methods of financing development under the Amended <br /> Plan; the lack of necessity for a relocation plan for families due to the absence <br /> of any proposed relocation in the Project Area as affected by the Amended Plan; <br /> and a statement of the proposed length of time necessary to carry out the Amended <br /> Plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Section 99.430(8) R.S. <br /> Mo. , 1978 as amended, the City Council has advertised that a public hearing would <br /> be held on the Amended Plan and said public hearing was duly held at 7:30 P.M. on <br /> February 10, 1986, and all of those who were interested in being heard were given <br /> a reasonable opportunity to express their views; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council take appropriate official <br /> action regarding the approval of the Amended Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY <br /> CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 2 <br /> 660N7954PAu 2464 <br />
