good and serviceable condition, and installed so as not to be a poten- <br /> tial source of electrical hazard, or ignition of combustible materials. <br /> Replacement of existing wiring and equipment shall be made where these <br /> conditions are not fulfilled. <br /> H. Compliance to Rehabilitation Standards, <br /> 1. All buildings in the University Court Urban Renewal Area will be in- <br /> spected on the basis of these standards as to deficiencies which need <br /> .correction. For the purpose of making such inspections Authority em- <br /> ployees are authorized to enter and examine each building. The owner <br /> and occupants of any building shall give the agents or employees of ' <br /> the LPA free access to each such building at all reasonable times. <br /> 2. An owner of a structure not in compliance with the foregoing standards <br /> shall be notified of the nature of the defects. Such owner will enter <br /> into formal agreement with the Authority to meet the standards estab- <br /> lished above within a specified time period and, thereafter, to main- <br /> tain compliance with such standards. If the owner will not enter into <br /> an agreement or will not meet these standards, then his structure may <br /> be acquired for rehabilitation purposes by the Authority or the City <br /> notified to examine the property totally and serve notice to correct <br /> illegal conditions according to the Codes within the legal limit of <br /> 60 days, <br /> 3. Alterations to the exterior or interior of a structure requires sub- <br /> mission of plans and elevations to be approved by the City and the <br /> Authority.
