north and south streets, Forsyth Boulevard shall be the dividing line, and <br /> numbering shall be assigned northwardly and southwardly from such dividing <br /> line, with even numbers on the east side and odd numbers on the west side, In <br /> all cases numbers shall be in sequence. <br /> 125.3 Use of Other Than Official Number: It shall be unlawful for any owner <br /> or occupant of a building to use any number other than the official number as <br /> shown in the records of the Department of Planning and Development. <br /> 125.4 Display of Building Numbers: The assigned building number shall be <br /> displayed in arabic numerals not less than 2 1/2" (64 cm) in height, so that <br /> such building number is legible from the street and from the alley, if an <br /> alley adjoins the premises. <br /> SPECIAL USE AND OCCUPANCY REQUIREMENTS <br /> SECTION 613.0 14OBILE UNITS <br /> 613.1 General: Mobile units, including mobile homes, travel trailers and <br /> truck trailers, shall not be occupied or used for storage purposes unless the <br /> mobile unit is placed on a permanent foundation and complies with the require- <br /> ments of this section. <br /> Exception: Temporary site office and storage facilities in <br /> connection with construction operations for a limited period <br /> of time as approved by the building official. <br /> 613.2 Construction: All mobile units shall be designed and constructed in <br /> accordance with the requirements of this code and prefabricated construction <br /> and shall be evaluated, inspected and labeled in-plant in accordance with <br /> Section 115.23, <br /> SECTION 616.0 SWIMMING POOLS <br /> Section 616.5.1 Wall slopes: To a depth up to 2 feet 9 inches (838 mm) from <br /> the top, the wall slope shall not be more than one unit horizontal in five <br /> units vertical (1:5) . <br /> 616.9 Swimming pool safety devices: Every person owning land on which there <br /> is situated a swimming pool, which contains 24 inches (610 mm) or more of <br /> water in depth at any point, shall erect and maintain thereon an adequate <br /> enclosure either surrounding the property or pool area, sufficient to make <br /> such body of water inaccessible to small children. Such enclosure, including <br /> gates therein, shall be not less than 4 feet (1219 mm) above the underlying <br /> ground. All gates shall be self-closing and self-latching with latches placed <br /> 4 feet (1219 mm) above the underlying ground and otherwise made inaccessible <br /> from the outside to small children. <br /> A natural barrier, hedge, pool cover or other protective device approved by <br /> the governing body shall be an acceptable enclosure so long as the degree of <br /> protection afforded by the substituted devices or structures is not less than <br /> the protection afforded by the enclosure, gate and latch described herein. <br /> Above-ground pools that are a minimum of four (4) feet above grade on all <br /> sides and are accessible only by a removable ladder need not provide the <br /> protective enclosure; however, the ladder must be removed when the pool is not <br /> in use. <br /> 616.9.1 Diving boards: Minimum water depths and distances for diving hoppers <br /> for pools, based on board height above water, shall comply with Table 616 for <br /> public pools and Table 616a for private pools. Diving boards higher than 3 <br /> meters shall conform to the recommendatiosn of the Rules and Regulations of <br /> United States Diving, Inc. Listed in Appendix a. <br /> The maximum slope permitted between point D2 and the transition point shall <br /> not exceed one unit vertical to three units .horizontal (1:3) in public pools <br /> and one uniti vertical to one unit horizontal (1:1) in private pools. D1 is <br /> the point directly under the end of the diving boards. D2 is the point at <br /> which the floor begins to slope upwards to the transition point. <br /> 6 <br />
