E <br /> PRECAUTIONS DURING BUILDING OPERATIONS <br /> SECTION 1807.0 DEMOLITION AND EXCAVATIONS <br /> 1807.2.3: Deep excavations shall be those of more than four feet and shallow <br /> excavations shall be four feet or less in depth. <br /> 1807.3 Accumulation of Water: All excavations shall be maintained free of <br /> standing water. <br /> SIGNS <br /> SECTION 1901.0 PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND PERMITS <br /> 1901.2 New Signs: A new sign shall not hereafter be erected, constructed, or <br /> painted except as herein provided, and not until after a permit has been <br /> issued by the building official with the approval of the zoning administrator. <br /> SECTION 1902.0 EXEMPTIONS <br /> 1902.1 General: A permit shall not be required for signs which are exempt <br /> from the provisions of the zoning code. <br /> 1902.2 through 1902.4 are hereby deleted in their entirety. <br /> SECTION 1906O BONDS AND LIABILITY INSURANCE <br /> 1906.1 Filing: Is hereby deleted in its entirety. <br /> 1906.2 Conditions: Is hereby deleted in its entirety. <br /> 1906.3 Notice of Cancellation: Is hereby deleted in its entirety. <br /> ELECTRICAL WIRING AND EQUIPMENT <br /> SECTION 2004.0 PERMIT AND CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION <br /> 2004.5 Homeowner Permits: Subject to all provisions of sections 2004.5.1 <br /> through , 57-permit may be issued to the owner or to a member of the <br /> owner's immediate family for the repair or modification (including the <br /> installation of additional fixtures, outlets and circuits) of an existing <br /> electrical system on the premises of a detached one-family dwelling including <br /> accessory structures. <br /> 2004.5.1 The dwelling shall be designed and used solely for living purposes. <br /> 2004.5.2 The dwelling shall be occupied by the permittee. <br /> 2004.5.3 The permittee shall personally perform all required work. <br /> 2004.5.4 Prior to the issuance of a permit under this Section, the Building <br /> Official shall determine that the request for a permit complies with the fore- <br /> going provisions and that the applicant has the necessary knowledge and <br /> ability to perform the proposed work in accordance with code requirements. <br /> 2004.5.5 The permit may be revoked by the Building Official if it is deter- <br /> mined that work under the permit is not being properly performed or that the <br /> application did not comply or no longer complies with this Section. Upon such <br /> revocation, the property owner may be required by the Building Official to <br /> proceed immediately to procure a licensed electrician to correct or complete <br /> the work. <br /> 2004.5.6 This Section does not authorize a waiver or modification of any <br /> provision of this Code or the Electrical Code relating to the materials, <br /> design, installation or practice of electrical work, or to the preparation and <br /> approval of plans, or to required fees for permits, inspections or <br /> reinspections. <br /> 8 <br />
