INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER ADAMS BILL NO. 7785 ORDINANCE NO. 5581 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, AS COMPREHENSIVELY AMENDED OCTOBER 19, 1970, BY ORDINANCE NO. 4591, BY CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREIN- AFTER DESCRIBED "SR", SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, TO "PD", PLANNED DEVELOPMENT, AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING THE UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. WHEREAS, Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City [University City Zoning Code] divides the City into several zoning districts, and regulates the character of buildings which may be erected in each of said districts, and the uses to which the buildings and premises F e located therein may be put; and WHEREAS, the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, reviewed the classification of the properties herein described and recommended the rezoning of said properties to "PD"; and WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall, at 7:30 P.M. on th 24th day of November, 1986, was duly published in the St. Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within said City; and WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held and the matter of the zoning change was thoroughly discussed at said meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of Univer- sity City, as comprehensively amended October 19, 1970, by Ordinance No. 4591 be and the same is hereby amended by changing the classification from "SR" Single Family-Residential to "PD" Planned Development, of the following described properties to wit: 151 North Hanley: The South 1/2 of Lot 8 in Block "A" of BEMISTON, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 64, of the St. Louis County Recorder's Office. 153 North Hanley_: The North 1/2 of Lot 8 in Block "A" of BEMISTON, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 64, of the St. Louis County Records, EXCEPTING THEREFROM that part taken for the widening of Hanley Road. 7510 Pershing: L ot 9 in Blo_ck "A" of BEMISTON, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 64, of the St. Louis County Records, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the West 55.34 feet; together with all improvements thereon known as and numbered 7510 Pershing, University City, Missouri.
