in a safe, usable condition in compliance with the electrical code of <br />Universit~ Cit~, Any improvements, alterations, etc, of the struc- <br />ture's electrical system sha11 be inspected and approved by electrical <br />inspectors, <br /> <br />._Compliance to Rehabilitation Standards. <br /> <br />All buildings in the Delmar Loop Urban Renewal Area will be in- <br />spected and rated on the basis of these standards as to their defi- <br />ciencies which need correction. For the purpose of realring such in~ <br />spections and otherwise administering these standa.rds, all agents <br />and employees of the LPA are authorized to enter and examine all <br />buildings, The owner and occupants of any building shall give the <br />agents and employees of the LPA free access to each such building <br />at all reasonable times, <br /> <br />An owner of a substandard structure shall be notified of the nature of <br />the defects. Such owner will enter into formal agreement with the LPA <br />to meet the standards established above within a specified time period <br />and, thereafter, to maintain compliance with such standards. If the <br />owner will not enter into an agreement or will not meet these stand- <br />ards, then his structure may be acquired by the LPA for rehabilitation <br />purposes. <br /> <br />Before conversion or alteration to the exterior and/or interior of a <br />structure is undertaken, plans and elevations and subsequent workman- <br />ship of rehabilitated, altered, or converted structures must be ap- <br />proved by the LPA, or their representatives and the interpretation of <br />these regulations shall be final and binding. <br /> <br />0 <br /> <br />END <br /> <br /> PRS-IO <br /> <br />OF DOCUMENT <br /> <br /> <br />
