February 5, 2007
affecting the public health and safety of our residents. University City also has
another ordinance in which a 10-year franchise was given to Ameren UE to trim
the trunks and branches of trees along or over their right-of-way in U.City to
maintain efficient and continuous service which has not been done. Moreover,
Ameren UE has not provided City Manager Feier with the requested copies of
their emergency response and easement maintenance plans.

Mr. Price asked that a copy of this resolution be sent to our state legislatures as
well. Ms. Ricci asked if all councilmembers could sign this resolution under the
Mayor’s signature.

Mayor Adams informed councilmembers that a group of mayors met with the
Ameren officials starting a long-range dialog with them. They are looking at the
past and present service provided by Ameren UE in St. Louis County and will
plan a future joint approach with Ameren UE to insure better service. We are
trying to work out a positive relationship with them. Mayor Adams said that if
anyone was interested he has the papers passed-out at this meeting which listed
Ameren’s proposals.

Mr. Price called for the question. Resolution 2007 – 3 was passed unanimously.

CONSENT AGENDA
1. 8141 Olive, Kremer’s Tavern
2. 750 Rollout Carts, 95 gallons
3. 30 Side Load Containers, 3yard
4. Replace Furnace/Air-Conditioner at Ruth Park Pro Shop

Ms. Brot previously had asked that the topic of Kremer’s Tavern, 8141 Olive, be
pulled from the consent agenda.

The remaining three items on the consent agenda were moved for adoption by Mr.
Price, seconded by Mr. Glickert and passed unanimously.

Upon bringing back the request by Kremers’ tavern for a liquor license from the
consent agenda for separate attention, Mr. Price moved to deny this liquor license
request and was seconded by Ms. Brot. The vote was unanimous to deny the liquor
license for 8141 Olive, Kremer’s Tavern.

PUBLIC HEARING

At the onset of the Public Hearing, Mayor Adams announced that the rezoning of #1
McKnight Place would be continued to the next Council meeting on February 26, 2007.
Then he said if anyone was present to speak tonight and could not make the next Council
meeting, he/she would be heard. He encouraged speakers to reserve their comments to
only one night if their comments would be the same both nights.

2
