Ms. Brot felt this was a well informed organization <br />and we should encourage them to continue educating our citizens about University City’s <br />government. <br /> <br />Thirdly, she thanked the administration and the City Clerk for creating a numbering <br />system for the agenda packet which allowed easier referencing of material which <br />supports agenda items. Fourthly, Ms. Brot wanted to publicize that the Olive Business <br />Association is promoting a celebration of the Chinese New Year in front of Royal Bank on <br />February 19, 2007. <br /> <br />Lastly she asked the mayor to include a representative from the Historic Preservation <br />Commission on the Economic Development Commission as a non-voting member, <br />equivalent to the representatives from the Loop and the Olive Business Association. Ms. <br />Brot stated that much of the area covered by the bill included historic areas. Ms. Brot <br />then congratulated assistant principal Burgdorf of University City High School for her <br />recent selection as the Missouri State Assistant Principal of the Year by the National <br />Association of Secondary School Principals. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams announced upcoming meetings: February 8, 6:30, a Northwest <br />Neighborhood Plan Community meeting; February 21 a joint school district lunch with the <br />U.City Council; February 26 the regular Council meeting proceeded by a Study session <br />on quarterly budget transfers. <br /> <br />Meeting was adjourned at 8:15. <br /> <br /> <br />Joyce Pumm <br />City Clerk <br /> 8 <br />
