The habitable floor area <br />for all other bedrooms sixall be not less than 80 square feet for <br />the first occupant and for over one occupant not less than 50 <br />square feet additional per occupant. <br /> <br />A habitable room shall have a ceiling height of at least 7'-6". <br /> <br />Access to a single bathroom shall be provided from iuside the <br />living unit. In such cases access may not be directly from a hit- <br />chen, or through a bedroom when tilere is more than one bedroom <br />in a dwelling unit. <br /> <br />Access to every habitable room in a dwelling unit shall be provided <br />without passing through a bathroom or water closet compartment. <br /> <br />Each living unit within a structure shall bare adequate space for <br />laundry trays or equipment, in either the structure's basement or <br />~:h~r suitable public space or within each living unit having two or <br />more bedrounds. <br /> <br />Each living unit within a structure shall be provided with safe, <br />private and unobstructed means of ingress and egress. Dual means of exit shall consist of two inside <br />stairs discharging directly or through common halls to the outside, <br />or on one inside stair and one metal stair type fire escape access- <br />ible to all rlv~e:lling ,,nits on each floor and discharging to the out- <br />side. <br /> <br />17. <br /> <br />lg. <br /> <br />Stairways sixall comply with the Building Code for size of rise and <br />run of steps, headroe:n, obstructions, stair width, landings and <br />rail protection. Each stair~vay shall have sufficient railings in <br />safe and sound condition. WindCr-t3,pe steps shall not be used in <br />stairways of dwellings where more than one family use the stair- <br />way, unless a separate means of ingress and egress for each liv- <br />lug unit is provided ~vhich is not a secondary exit. <br /> <br />No roon~ in any basement in an existing structure shall be used as <br />a habitable rooa~ nor shall any roon~ in any basement be deemed <br />to be any part of a d~vellin5 unit under these regulations. <br /> <br />C. Building Planning - Non-Residential Uses. <br /> <br />Non-residential buildings with mixed occupancy.
