~rees shall be kept pruned and trimmed to prevent such <br /> conditions. <br /> <br />Holes, excavations, breaks, projections, obstructions, <br />uncleared snow and any other hazardous conditions on <br />walks, sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, or any other <br />areas on the premises which are accessible by persons, <br />shall be eliminated. <br /> <br />F. General provisions - Non-Residential Uses. <br /> <br />1. All allowable permanent signs exposed to public view <br /> shall be maintained in good repair. Any signs which have <br /> excessively weathered or faded, those upon which paint <br /> has peeled or cracked, or those that are a non-conforming <br /> use, shall, with their supporting members, be removed. <br /> Any signs which have a portion or portions missing, shall <br /> have such portion or portions replaced in a workmanlike <br /> manner and in character with those portions that exist. <br /> <br />2. Except for "For Rent" signs, any temporary sign or other <br /> paper advertising material glued or otherwise attached to <br /> a window or windows or otherwise exposed to public view <br /> shall be removed: <br /> <br />a. At the expiration of the event or sale for which it <br /> is erected, or <br />b. Within sixty days after placement or erection <br /> whichever shall sooner occur. <br /> <br /> Except during the course of repairs or alterations, <br /> no more than 33-1/3 percent of the square footage <br /> of any single window or single window display area <br /> shall be devoted to signs or other temporary <br /> advertising material attached to said window or <br /> windows or otherwise exposed to public view. <br /> <br />No storage of materials, stock or inventory shall be <br />permitted in window display areas ordinarily exposed to <br />public view unless said areas are first screened from <br />public view by draperies, venetian blinds or other <br />satisfactory rendering of the windows opaque to the <br />public view. Painting of windows shall not be considered <br />a satisfactory method for rendering windows opaque. All <br />screening of interiors shall be maintained in a clean and <br />an attractive manner and in a good state of repair. <br /> <br />All store fronts shall be kept in good repair and free <br />from any defects which make them hazardous. In the event <br />repairs to a store front become necessary, such repairs <br />shall be made with the same or similar materials used in <br />the construction of the store front and in such a manner <br />as to permanently repair the damaged area or areas. <br /> <br />All structures with 2,500 square feet of floor space <br />shall be provided with at least one two and one-half (2- <br />1/2) gallon capacity chemical or water type fire <br />extinguisher bearing the label of the Underwriters <br />Laboratory and an additional extinguisher shall be <br />provided for each additional 2,500 square feet of floor <br />space. All extinguishers shall be in sound working <br />condition and shall be in an accessible location for <br />emergency use. <br /> <br />G. Liqht and Ventilation - Residential, Non-Residential Uses. <br /> <br />All habitable rooms, except kitchens, shall have natural <br />light, provided by means of windows, glazed doors, or <br />skylights. A glass area of at least 10 percent of the <br />floor area shall be provided for new or remodeled rooms, <br />or other spaces.
