PM-705.2 Enclosure Rating <br />Enclosures connecting not more than six stories shall have a <br />fireresistance rating of not less than 1 hour with approved opening <br />protectives. Enclosures connecting more than six stories shall <br />have a fireresistance rating of not less than 2 hours with approved <br />opening protectives. <br /> <br />Section 3. Saving Clause. Nothing in this ordinance or in the <br />Existing Structures Code hereby adopted, shall be construed to <br />affect any suit or proceeding pending in any court, or any rights <br />acquired or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action <br />acquired or existing under any act or ordinance hereby repealed, as <br />cited herein. <br /> <br />Section 4. Severability. If any section, subsection, provision, <br />sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reasons <br />held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not <br />affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance and <br />the City Council of the City of University City hereby declares <br />that it would have passed the same, even though such portion so <br />held to be unconstitutional had not been included herein and to <br />this end the provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to be <br />severable. <br /> <br />Section 5. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the <br />provisions of this ordinance, shall, upon conviction thereof, be <br />subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1, Section 1-8 of the <br />Municipal Code of the City of University City. <br /> <br />Section 6.
