(b) Causing a complaint~ indictment or <br />information to be sought and prosecuted or- <br />assisting in the prosecution thereof; <br /> <br />(c) Arresting or causing or seeking the <br />arrest of any person in connection with st~ch <br />victimization. <br /> <br />3. As used in this section, the term "o~icial <br />proceeding" means any cause, matter, or proceeding <br />where the laws of this state or City require th,~[ <br />evidence considered therein be under oatl~ or <br />affirmation. <br /> <br />4. As used in this section, the term "victim" <br />means any natural person against whom an~ crime or <br />ordinance violation is deemed to have been perpe-' <br />trated or attempted. <br /> <br />5. As used in this section, the term "witness" <br />means any natural person: <br /> <br />(a) Having knowledge of the existence or <br />nonexistence of facts relating to any crime <br />ordinance violation; or <br /> <br />(b) Whose declaration under oath is reccivc!C <br />as evidence for any purpose; or <br /> <br />(c) Who has reported any crime or GrOinonce <br />violation to any peace officer or prosecutor; <br />or <br /> <br />(d) Who has been served with a subpoena <br />issued under the authority of any court of <br />this state or city. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating <br />any of the provisions Of this ordinance shall, upon <br />conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in <br />Chapter 1, Section 1-8 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />University City. <br /> <br /> <br />
