INTRODUCED BY COUNCTL MEMBER SCHUMAN <br /> <br />SILL NO. 8I!~ (as amended) ORDINANCE NO. 5903 <br /> <br />AN ORDI.~ANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY RELATING TO <br />ZONING, BY REPEALING SECTION 34-90 THEREOF, AS <br />AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5830, ENACTED OCTOBER 7, <br />1991. RELATING TO DEFINITIONS, AND ENACTING THEREIN <br />A NEW SECT l ON TO BE KNOWN AS "SECT I ON 34-90 <br />DEFINITIONS" BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO <br />CHANGE ]'HE DEFINITIONS OF "MAJOR RECREATIONAL <br />EE~U!PMENT" AND "PRIVATE PASSENGER VEHICLE"; <br />CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. Chapter 34 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br />University City (University City Zoning code) d~vides ~he <br />City into several zoning districts, and regulates the uses to <br />which the premises located therein may be put; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 34-90 thereof provides for Definitione; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS~ the City Plan Commission, after a hearing, <br />reviewed said section; and <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by <br />the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall, at 7:30 <br />P.M. on the 11th day of January, 1993, ~as duty published in <br />the Watchman Advocate, a newspaper of general circulation <br />within said City~ on the 23rd day of December~ 19~2~ and <br /> WHEREAS~ said public he~ring ~as duly held at the time <br />and place specified in said no[ice~ and all suggestions or <br />objections concerning sa~d change in said section were duly <br />heard and considered by the Council. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CItY OF LINIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 34 of t. he Municipal Code of the City <br />of University City~ Missouri, as amended cebruar~ 4, 1991, by <br />Ordinance No. 5789, is hereby amended by repealing Section <br />34-90 thpreof, relating to definitions~ and enacting ~n lieu <br />thereof a new Section 34-90, Definitions, so as to change the <br />definitions of "Major Recreational Equipment" and "Private <br />Passenger Vehicle", so that said section as so amended shall <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII - DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Section 34-90 <br /> <br />Accessory use (Structure) - See Section 34-52.2 <br /> <br />Alley - cf.
