INTRODUCED BY COUNCIL MEMBER SCHOOMER BILL NO. 8116 (as ~mended) ORDINANCE NO. 5905 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL C('2DE OF THE C[q'Y OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC BY REPEAI_ING SECTION 2!-127 THEREOF, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 4725, ENACFED APRIL 10, 1972, RELATING TO PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES AND ENACTING tN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 21-127~ PARKING COMMERCIAL VEHICLES PROf-iIBITED; EXCEPTIONS," BY PROHIBiT!NG THE STREE] PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES UNDER CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES WITH EXCEPTIONS; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PRO- VIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY ]'HE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY , MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City relating to motor vehicles and traffic is hereby amendpd ~1, rclpea]ing Section 2!~!27 thereof~ as amended by Ordinance No. 47~5, enacted April 10, 1972~ relating to parking of commercial vehicles and enacting in l~eu thereof a new section to be known as "Section 21-127, Parking Commercial Vehicles Prohibited; Exceptions," by prohibiting street parking of commercial vehicles under certain circumstances with exceptions; relating to the same subject, and re-enacting said section so that said section, as so amended, shall read as 'follows: 2!-127 PARKINS TRUCKS AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLES PROH!B1TED~ EXCEPTIONS (a) It shali be un!awfu] to park any bus or truck largi~r than s~x thousamd (6~000) pounds gross vehicle ~eight on any street or alley other than the streets and places named heroin, except for the put-pose o'( collecting or delivering goods or articles in the immediate vicinity or for the purpose of providing business services relating to premises in the immediate vicinity: Bertmet Industrial Drive, from Sutter Avenue to the eas~ cit~ limits.
