8ILL NO. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER <br /> <br />8129 ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />5917 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY RELATING TO <br />ZONING, BY REPEALING SECTION 34-90 THEREOF, AS <br />AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 5COS, ENACTED FEBRUARY 22, <br />lees, RELATING TO DEFINITIONS, AND ENACTING THEREIN <br />A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS "SECTION 54-90 <br />DEFINITIONS" BY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO <br />CHANGE THE LENGTH OF PRIVATE PASSANGER VEHICLE TO <br />EIGHTEEN FEET CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND <br />PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OP UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 54 of the Municipal Code of the City <br />of University City, Missouri, as amended February 22, <br />by Ordinance No. 5903, is hereby amended by repealing <br />Section 34-90 thereof, relating to definitions, and enacting <br />in lieu thereof a new Section 54-e0, Definitions, so as to <br />change the length of private passenger vehicle to eighteen <br />feet, so that said section as so amended shall read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII - DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Section 54-90 <br /> <br />Accessory u~. (Structure) - See Section 34-52.2 <br /> <br />Alley - cf. Public Service Drive. <br /> <br />Apartment Dwellino - A building or portion thereof, <br />designed for occupancy by three (5) or more families <br />living independently of each other, exclusive of <br />attached single-family dwellings, townhouses, or patio <br />houses or individually subdivided lots. <br /> <br />Attached Sinqle-family Dwellinq One (1) of a series of <br />attached dwelling units located on individual subdivided <br />lots of record. <br /> <br />Automobile Fillinq Station - A use solely for the retail <br />sale and dispensing of gasoline, oil, air and water. <br /> <br />Automobile RepaiF - See motor vehicle repair. <br /> <br />Automobile Service Station - A use primarily for <br />supplying gasoline, oil, air and water, tires, <br />accessories and services for motor vehicles at direct <br />retail to the consumer, including the incidental <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
