Certificate o__tNon-residential Occupancy - cf. Use <br />Certificate. <br /> <br />Child Day Care Center~ Nursery School or Day Care <br />Nursery - A group program providing for the care of five <br />children or more away from their own homes for any part <br />of the twenty-four (24) hour day, for compensation or <br />otherwise, supplementing parental responsibility for the <br />child's protection, development and supervision. <br /> <br />Commercial Equipment - Construction equipment, material <br />handling equipment and the like, and trailers for <br />transporting such equipment whether occupied by such <br />equipment or not. <br /> <br />Commercial Motor Vehicle - Any motor vehicle used for <br />business or institutional purposes or having painted <br />thereon or affixed thereto a sign identifying a <br />business, institution, or a principal product or service <br />of a business; or any motor vehicle used primarily for <br />the transportation of persons for a fee or charge such <br />as buses or taxi cabs. <br /> <br />Commonly Usable Residential Open Space (C.U.R.O.S.) - <br />Any outdoor area of such sizem shape and location as to <br />provide for specific outdoor living functions, such as <br />patios, playgrounds, or swimming pools, or outdoor <br />service functions such as laundry drying. Site area <br />considered as C.U.R.O.S. must be available and <br />accessible for all residential occupants of a given <br />building or development, and may include only those <br />spaces enclosing an area of at least three hundred (300) <br />square feet, and measuring fifteen (15) feet in width at <br />the narrowest point. <br />Convalescent Home - Any premises, other than a nursing <br />home, hospital or residential substance abuse treatment <br />center, which provides twenty-four hour care, <br />accommodation and board in order to aid individuals in <br />the gradual recorvery of health and strength after <br />illness or weakness, including a "Residenial Care <br />Facility I .... or a "Residential Care Facility II" as <br />defined by Chapter 198 of the Missouri Revised Statutes. <br /> <br />Convenience Service Retail Uses - Small establishments <br />designed and intended to service the daily or frequent <br />trade or service needs of surrounding population. Such <br />establishments include grocery stores, variety storesm <br />drug stores, coin-operated laundry and dry-cleaning <br />establishments, beauty shops, barber shops, and medical <br />and dental office. Specifically excluded are automobile <br />filling and service stations and carryout and drive-in <br />restaurants. <br /> <br /> <br />
