(SECTION M-2002.0 INSPECTIONS) M-2002.1 Periodic Inspections: All boilers and pressure vessels shall be inspected by the Missouri Department of Public Safety, Division of Fire Safety, Boiler/Pressure Vessel Unit as provided by state statutes. M-2002.2.1 Boiler Record: Is hereby deleted in its entirety. M-2002.4 thru M-2002.9: Are hereby deleted in their entirely. Section 2. Saving Clause. Nothing in this ordinance or in the Mechanical Code hereby adopted shall be construed to affect any suit or proceeding pending in any Court or any rights acquired or liability incurred, or any cause or causes of action acquired or existing under any act or ordinance hereby repealed, as cited herein. Section 3. Severability. If any section, subsection, provision, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or of the BOCA National Mechanical Code, Eighth Edition, 1993, is for any reasons held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance or of said code and supplement, and the City Council of the City of University City hereby declares that it would have passed the same, even though such portion so held to be unconstitutional had not been included herein, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to be severable. Section 4. Penalty. Any person, firm or corporation violating any provisions of this ordinance or the code hereby adopted, shall upon conviction thereof be subject to the penalties provided in Section 1-8 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City. Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, as provided by law. PASSED this 2nd day of May, 1994.
