PM-303.4 Landscaping: Exterior property in residential zoning districts shall be <br />provided with lawn or ground cover of vegetation or shrubs, covering an area of not less <br />than ten percent of the total lot area. All exterior property areas which are not covered <br />by vegetation shall be treated to prevent the blowing or scattering of dust particles in the <br />air. Any tree, shrub or other plant material on the premises which overhangs a public <br />entnnce, driveway, or public walk shall be trimmed to avoid obstruction of view or <br />movement of vehicles and pedestrians. Weeds and grass shall be maintained at a height <br />of no more than 8 inches (203 ram) on all exterior property except weeds arid grass on <br />unimproved parcels of land shall be maintained at a height of no more than 12 inches <br />(305 ram). The area along fences and along foundations shall be maintained free of <br />volunteer growth of trees and shrubs. <br /> <br />PM-303.7.1 Fences: Fences shall be kept in a good state of repair and shall not <br />be allowed to deteriorate to an unsound or unsightly appearance. Repairs shall <br />be made with materials that maR:h the balance of the fence. <br /> <br />P1VI-303.8 Motor vehicles: No wrecked, dilapidated, or derelict motor vehicle or any <br />part thereof which does not meet the safety standards for maintenance and operation as <br />provided under the statutes of the State, shall be stored on the premises exc~"pt within a <br />fully enclosed building or on the premises of a motor vehicle repair facility within the <br />limitations of a duly issued permit for such facility. <br /> <br />PM-303.9 Bufiding numbers: The officially designated building numbers shall be <br />displayed in anbic numerals not less than 3 inches (76 ram) in height on all premises <br />improved with a building, so that such building number is legible from the street and <br />from the alley, if an alley adjoins the premises. <br /> <br />PM-303.10 Storage areas: All open salvage yards and open storage areas shall be <br />completely obscured from surrounding property and public areas by a solid screen not <br />less than 6 feet (1828 ram) in height. <br /> <br /> (SEUnON PM-304.0 EXTIfledOR STRU~) <br />PM-304.11 Windows and Doors: Every window, door, and frame shal! be kept in <br />sound condition, good repair and weather tight. <br /> <br />PM-304.11.1 Glazing: Every window, glazed exterior door, exterior transom <br />or exterior sidelight shall be provided with properly installed glass or other <br />approved glazing material without holes, open cracks, or multiple cracks in the <br />same pane or sheet. In the event of breakage the owner or other person <br />responsible shall cause the immediate removal of broken glass from the premises <br />and shall temporarily board up the affected opening with suitable material to <br />provide protection from the elements and to prevent entry of insects, birds or <br />animals and to provide security to the occupants and contents of the building. <br /> <br /> <br />
