another person to use or occupy any structure, premises, or equipment reguhted by this <br />code, or cause same to be done, contrary to or in conflict with or in violation of any of <br />the provisions of this code, or to fail to obey a lawful order of the code official, or to <br />remove or deface a placard or notice posted under the provisions of this code. <br /> <br />PM-106.2 Penalty: Any person, firm or corporation, who shall violate any provision <br />of this code shall upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalties provided in Section <br />1-8 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City. Each day that a violation <br />continues after due notice has been served, in accordance with the terms and provisions <br />hereof, shall be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> (SECTION PM-I07.0 NOTICES AND ORDERS) <br />PM-107.1.1 Inspection report: In order to facilitate voluntary compliance with this <br />code, the Code Official shall be permitted to serve the owner or the responsible persons <br />with a report of inspection results by personal service or by mailing the report to the last <br />known address. <br /> <br /> (SECTION PM-II0.0 DEMOLITION) <br />PM-I10.1 General: Any structure which is found to be detrimental to the health, safety <br />or welfare of the residents of the City of University City and which is declared to be a <br />public nuisance by the code official shall be vacated and demolished or repaired in strict <br />accordance with the provisions of this section. <br /> <br />PM-110.2 Declaration of public nuisance: Any structure found to have any of the <br />following defects shall be deemed to be detrimental to the health, safety, or welfare of <br />the residents of the City of University City and shall be declared a public nuisance. <br /> <br />Bearing wall, earth retaining wall, column, or other vertical structural <br />member which leans or buckles to such an extent that it is likely to <br />partially or completely collapse and injure the occupants or members of <br />the public. <br /> <br />Fieor, roof, wall, structural member or structural connection which is <br />overloaded, has insufficient bearing or which has insufficient strength to <br />be safe for the purpose used so as to be likely to collapse and injure the <br />occupants or members of the public. <br /> <br />Part of a structure which is so attached that it is likely to fall and injure <br />the occupants or members of the public. <br /> <br />Damage by fire, earthquake, flood, wind, or other causes, so as to <br />become dangerous to the health. safety, or welfare of the occupants or <br />members of the public. <br /> <br />Disrepair or lack of maintenance so as to be unsanitary, vermin or rat <br />infested, filthy or contaminated, or lacking in ventilation, sanitary <br /> <br /> <br />
