That notice of the election shall be given by the Board of <br />Election Commissioners of St. Louis County, Missouri, by causing legal notice <br />thereof to be g,ven and published in the manner required by applicable law, and <br />particularly by the Comprehensive Election Act of 1977, (Chapter 115, Revised <br />Statutes of Missouri, as amended). The legal notice of the election so caused <br />to be published shall include the date and time of the election, the name of the <br />officer or agency calling the election, a sample ballot and, in the final notice <br />published in accordance with Section 115.129, Revised Statutes of Missouri, the <br />location of the polling places as designated by the Board of Election <br />Commissioners of St. Louis County, Missouri. In addition to causing notice of <br />the election to be published, the Board of Election Commissioners of St. Louis <br />County, Missouri, shall, not later than the fifth day prior to the election, mail <br />to each registered voter in the City of University City, a notice of election as <br />provided in Section 115.129, Revised Statutes of Missouri. <br /> <br /> Except as otherwise provided by the Comprehensive Election Act of 1977 <br />(Chapter 115, Revised Statutes of Missouri, as amended) no person shall be <br />allowed to vote whose name does not appear in the proper precinct register for <br />the polling place in question without the express sanction of the St. Louis <br />County Board of Election Commissioners, and, in order to vote In said election <br />a person must be registered no later than 5:09 p.m., or the normal closing time <br />of any public building where the registration is being held if such time is later <br />than 5=99 p.m.. but in no case shall registration extend beyond 19:90 p.m., on <br />the fourth Wednesday prior to the election. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
