BILL NO. 8220 INTRODUCED BY COUNCILMEMBER SCHOOMER ORDINANCE NO. 6005 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING, SELLING AND CONVEYING TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, A PERMANENT EASEMENT IN A STRIP OR STRIPS OF GROUND IN THE CLEMENS EXTENSION OF OLIVE STREET ADDITION; AND CONTAINING AN EMERGENCY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the School District of University City, Missouri, desires to build and maintain a sewer or sewers under a strip or strips of ground owned by the City of University City; and WHEREAS, the School Distdct of University City, Missouri, has requested an easement in such strip or strips of ground; and WHEREAS, the easement will further the preservation of the health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the people of the City of University City; and WHEREAS, the City of University City is willing to grant, sell and convey to the School District of University City, Missouri, the requested easement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City of University City is the owner of land described as follows: Beginning at the southwest comer of the parcel owned by the City of University City as recorded in deed book 4591, Page 99; said point being the intersection of the east right of way line of Kingsland Avenue (80 feet wide) and the north line of an alley (15 feet wide); Thence north 07 degrees 50 minutes 03 seconds east, a distance of 40 feet, said line being the east right of way line of Kingsland Avenue (80 feet wide) to a point; Thence south 82 degrees 41 minutes 57 seconds east, a distance of 15 feet to a point; Thence south 07 degrees 50 minutes 03 seconds east, a distance of 25.00 feet to a point; Thence south 82 degrees 41 minutes 57 seconds east, a distance of 160.69 feet to a point on the west line of an existing 10 feet wide easement as recorded in deed book 420, page 101; Thence south 07 degrees 50 minutes 00 seconds west, a distance of 15.00 feet, said line being the west line of an existing 10 feet wide easement, to a point on the north line of a 15 feet wide alley;
