BILL NO. ~:~ ~(~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLES AND <br />TRAFFIC, BY REPEALING SECTION 21-142 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />PARKING METER FEES IMPOSED; MANNER OF PAYMENT AND SCHEDULE <br />OF FEES; PARKING WITHOUT DEPOSITING FEE IN METER; AND AMENDING <br />SAID SECTION SO AS TO ADD A DESIGNATION OF ZONE F (DELMAR <br />PARKING GARAGE) AND TO ENACT THE FEE FOR ZONE F, AND <br />CHANGING THE FEE FOR ZONE E TO REMAIN CONSISTENT WITH <br />SECTIONS 21-137, 21-138, AND 21-141; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE <br />AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF-UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, <br />relating to motor vehicles and traffic, is hereby amended section 21-142 Parking <br />meter fees imposed; manner of payment and schedule of fees; parking without <br />depositing fee in meter;" by amending said section so as to add a designation of <br />Zone F (6319-6327 Delmar Parking Garage) and to set the fee for Zone F. <br /> <br />Section 21-142. <br /> <br />Parking meter fees imposed; manner of pavment and <br />schedule of fees; parking without depositing fee in meter <br /> <br />1. For the purpose of defraying the cost to the City of purchasing and <br /> installing parking meters and of regulating, supervising and policing <br /> the exercise of the privilege of parking in parking meter zones, there <br /> is hereby established a parking fee for the parking zones enumerated <br /> in Section 21-137 of the following amounts for the privilege of parking <br /> a vehicle in a parking space, which fee shall be paid by depositing a <br /> coin or coins in the parking meter adjacent to the parking space in <br /> which a vehicle is parked: <br /> Zone A - For six minutes or less, one cent. For thirty minutes <br /> or less, five cents. <br /> Zone B- For twelve minutes or less, five cents. For sixty <br /> minutes or less, twenty-five cents. <br /> Zone C- For twelve minutes or less, one cent. For sixty <br /> minutes or less, five cents. <br /> Zone D - For sixty minutes or less, five cents.
