Co <br /> <br />d o <br /> <br />Amendment Adding Section 34-55, Page 4 of 10 <br /> <br />limiting conditions that render <br />existing towers, structures or <br />bu i ld ings within the <br />applicant's required geographic <br />area unsuitable. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Whether the design of the tower <br />or structure, including the <br />antennas, shelter, and ground <br />layout maximally reduces visual <br />degradation and otherwise <br />complies with the provisions <br />and intent of this ordinance. <br /> <br />8 o <br /> <br />Whether the proposal minimizes <br />the number and size of the <br />towers or structures that will <br />be required in the geographic <br />area surrounding the proposed <br />site. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Whether the applicant failed to <br />take advantage of available <br />shared use options provided by <br />this ordinance or otherwise. <br /> <br />If the City has agreed to participate in <br />a multi-municipality-commission to <br />coordinate new tower or structure <br />applications, an application herein for a <br />conditional use permit shall be submitted <br />to such Commission simultaneous with the <br />filing of the request with the City. The <br />Plan Commission may consider any comments <br />from such multi-city Commission, but <br />shall not allow delay in receiving such <br />comments to significantly delay any <br />decision on the application. <br /> <br />Network compatibility - at the time of <br />site selection, the applicant should <br />demonstrate how the proposed site fits <br />into the overall network of the low power <br />mobile radio service system within the <br />City and adjacent cities. <br /> <br />3 o <br /> <br />General requirements: <br /> <br /> a. Height: No tower shall be approved in <br /> excess of 150 feet in height unless a <br /> clear showing that such height is <br /> <br /> <br />
