Amendment Adding Section 34-55, Page 3 of 10 <br /> <br />34-65, the Planning Commission shall make <br />findings as to the following based upon <br />evidence submitted with the application <br />or presented during the public hearing by <br />the applicant or others. A decision by <br />the Commission to deny an application <br />shall be based upon substantial evidence <br />which shall be made a part of the written <br />record of the meeting at which a final <br />decision on the application is rendered. <br />The written findings shall include: <br /> <br />Whether or not existing towers <br />are located within the <br />geographic area necessary to <br />meet the applicant' s <br />engineering requirements. <br /> <br />2 o <br /> <br />Whether or not existing towers, <br />structures or buildings within <br />the applicant's required <br />geographic area are of <br />sufficient height to meet <br />system engineering <br />requirements. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Whether or not existing towers <br />or structures have sufficient <br />structural strength to support <br />the applicant's proposed <br />antennas. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Whether or not the proposed <br />antennas would experience or <br />cause signal interference with <br />antennas on existing towers or <br />structures. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Whether or not the fees, costs, <br />or other contractual terms <br />required by the owner(s) of <br />ex i s t ing tower ( S()si <br />structure(s), or building <br />within the required geographic <br />area of the applicant or to <br />retrofit the existing tower(s) <br />or structure(s) are reasonable. <br />Costs exceeding that of a new <br />tower are presumed to be <br />unreasonable. <br /> <br />6.
