Amendment Adding Section 34-55, Page 2 of 10 <br /> <br />Cabinet: A structure for the protection and <br />security of communications equipment associated <br />with one or more antennas where direct access to <br />equipment is provided from the exterior and the <br />horizontal dimensions of which do not exceed 4 feet <br />by 6 feet and the vertical dimensions of which do <br />not exceed a height of 6 feet. <br />Disguised Support Structure: Any free standing, <br />man made structure designed for the support of <br />communication antennas, the presence of which is <br />camouflaged or concealed as an architectural or <br />natural feature. Such structures may include but <br />are not limited to clock towers, campaniles, <br />observation towers, pylon signs, water towers, <br />light standards; flag poles and artificial trees. <br />FCC: The Federal Communication Commission. <br />Height: The vertical distance measured from the <br />base of the structure at ground level to its <br />highest point and including the main structure and <br />all attachments thereto. <br />Shelter: A building for the protection and <br />security of communications equipment associated <br />with one or more antennas and where access to <br />equipment is gained from the interior of the <br />building. <br />Tower: A structure designed for the support of one <br />or more antennas and including guyed towers, self- <br />supporting (lattice) towers or monopole but not <br />disguised support structures or buildings. The <br />term shall also not include any support structure <br />under 50 feet in height owned and operated by an <br />amateur radio operator licensed by the Federal <br />Communication Commission. <br />Tower site: The property upon which is located <br />antennas, communication towers, cabinets, shelters, <br />all required security fencing, screening, parking <br />and all other facilities as may be required <br />hereunder. <br /> <br />2. Requirements for Conditional Use Permits: <br /> <br />The following requirements shall be followed for <br />all proposals to install, build or modify an <br />antenna or tower requiring a Conditional Use <br />Permit. <br /> <br />a o <br /> <br />Applications for Conditional Use Permits <br />shall be filed and processed in <br />accordance with Section 34-65. <br /> <br />b° <br /> <br />Findings Required: In addition to any <br />other determinations specified by Section <br /> <br /> <br />
