Amendment Adding Section 34-55, Page 9 of 10 <br /> <br /> Within HR and PR-O Districts, sites shall <br /> be located only on buildings 50 feet or <br /> more in height with antennas mounted on <br /> wall or roof surfaces without the use of <br />-towers. <br /> <br />8 o <br /> <br />9 o <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Maintenance: All facilities shall be maintained and <br />improved to remain in the condition in which they <br />were approved. <br /> <br />Removal: If any antenna, tower or support structure <br />becomes obsolete or is not used or is inactive for <br />a period of one year it shall be considered a <br />nuisance and be removed at the owner's expense. <br /> <br />Permitted Uses: The following telecommunications <br />equipment shall be exempt from the conditional use <br />permit requirements and upon receipt of the <br />appropriate Building Permit are allowed: <br /> <br />ae <br /> <br />The attachment of additional or <br />replacement antennas, cabinets or <br />shelters to any tower existing on the <br />effective date of this Ordinance or <br />subsequently approved in accordance with <br />these regulations, provided that an <br />additional equipment shelters or cabinets <br />are located within the existing tower <br />site compound area, and that said <br />shelters or cabinets meet all other <br />criteria as established by this Ordinance <br />as required by the applicable zoning <br />district regulations. <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />Antennas which are in accordance with an <br />approved design contained on a schedule <br />prepared and maintained by the Director <br />of Planning or of such other design as is <br />otherwise maximally disguised or <br />minimally obtrusive on the tower, <br />including minimal horizontal extension, <br />as may be permitted by current available <br />technology. <br /> <br />Go <br /> <br />The mounting of antennas in or on any <br />existing building or structure (such as a <br />water tower or a tower used for high <br />voltage electric lines) provided that the <br />presence of the antennas is concealed by <br />architectural elements or camouflaged by <br /> <br /> <br />
