No person has been issued a license to carry on the business of a peddler or hawker upon the same premises of the business licensee within 30 days of the date the items will be sold or offered for sale by the applicant. The applicant will not obstruct or otherwise interfere with vehicular or pedestrian traffic on the premises where the items will be sold or offered for sale; and o The applicant will provide adequate refuse containers on the premises where the items will be sold or offered for sale. The City Manager or his designee may impose license conditions consistent with this section, and the applicant and any agent, employee, member, officer or representative thereof shall comply with the same. Section 18-60. Same- Fees and regulations. The fee for a license issued under this article shall be thirty dollars ($30.00). The license shall be issued for a period not to exceed 48 hours. B° Every license shall show the place of residence of the peddler or hawker, and he or she shall carry the license with him or her and exhibit the same upon the request of any police officer. In the event there is more than one representative of a person carrying on the business of a peddler or hawker, there shall be an additional fee of six dollars ($6.00), for which a license shall be issued for the same period. Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, firm or corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Sections 18-58, 18-59, 18-60 or 18-60.2, nor bar the prosecution for any such violation. Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1, Section 1-8 of the Municipal Code of the City of University City, Missouri.
