(1) All trunk and distribution cable shall be sweep-tested on <br />the reels to verify compliance with manufacturer's <br />specifications. <br /> <br />(2) All trunk and distribution amplifiers shall be bench- <br />tested to verify compliance with manufacturer's specifications. <br /> <br />(3) No component shall be used in the System which fails to <br />meet manufacturer's specifications. A Franchisee shall <br />maintain at the University City Office records of all <br />preconstruction tests, which the City may inspect during <br />Normal Business Hours on reasonable notice. <br /> <br />Acceptance Tests. A Franchisee shall perform acceptance <br />tests prior to Subscriber connection. The test shall <br />demonstrate that the System components are operating as <br />expected. The test results shall be submitted to the City Clerk <br />for review by the City. The Franchisee shall have the <br />obligation, without further notice from City, to take corrective <br />action if any System components are not operating as <br />expected. The tests shall demonstrate System compliance with <br />technical specifications established pursuant to Subpad K of <br />Part 76 of Chapter 1 of Title 47 of the Code of Federal <br />Regulations or other applicable law. If the City requests to <br />witness the tests, it shall be notified in writing delivered to the <br />City Clerk at least 48 hours in advance of any testing. <br /> <br />Filing Tests. Upon written request from the City, a written <br />report of all tests shall be filed with the City Clerk within thirty <br />(30) days of each tests. If the location fails to meet <br />performance spedfications, the Franchise, without requirement <br />of additional notice or request from the City, shall take <br />correction action, retests the location and advise the City of <br />the action taken and results achieved by writing filed with the <br />City Clerk. The City shall have the option of witnessing such <br />follow-up test and shall be notified in same manner as <br />indicated under Section 5(F)(1 ). <br /> <br />Additional Testing. At any time after commencement of service <br />to Subscribers, the City may require tests demonstrating <br />compliance with FCC technical standards. Requests for such <br />additional tests will be made on the basis of complaints <br />received or other evidence indicating an unresolved <br /> <br />34 <br /> <br /> <br />
