Ca'% <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.64 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE NONUNIFORMED EMPLOYEES <br />RETIREMENT SYSTEM, BY REPEALING 2.64.070 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />CREDITABLE SERVICE, SECTION 2.64.090 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />NORMAL SERVICE RETIREMENT, SECTION 2.64.110 THEREOF, RELATING <br />TO DISABILITY RETIREMENT, 2.64.130 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />OPTIONAL FORM OF PENSION, SECTION 2.64.140 THEREOF, RELATING <br />TO EMPLOYEES LEAVING EMPLOYMENT OTHER THAN BY DEATH OR <br />RETIREMENT, AND SECTION 2.64.150 THEREOF, RELATING TO <br />REDUCTION OF BENEFITS FOR MILITARY DISABILITY COMPENSATION, <br />AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF NEW SECTIONS TO BE KNOWN AS <br />"SECTION 2.64.070 CREDITABLE SERVICE," "SECTION 2.64.090 NORMAL <br />SERVICE RETIREMENT," "SECTION 2.64.110 DISABILITY INSURANCE," <br />"SECTION 2.64.130 OPTIONAL FORM OF PENSION," "SECTION 2.64.140 <br />EMPLOYEE LEAVING EMPLOYMENT OTHER THAN BY DEATH OR <br />RETIREMENT," AND "SECTION 2.64.150 REDUCTION OF DISABILITY <br />INSURANCE PAYMENTS FOR MILITARY DISABILITY COMPENSATION," <br />THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTIONS SO AS TO INCREASE THE <br />PENSION OF PARTICIPANTS WHO TERMINATED AFTER JANUARY 1,2000, <br />AND SO AS TO REPLACE THE DISABILITY RETIREMENT PLAN WITH A <br />DISABILITY INSURANCE POLICY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, <br />MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 2.64 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to the <br />nonuniformed employees retirement system, is hereby amended by repealing Section 2.64.070 <br />thereof, relating to creditable service, Section 2.64.090 thereof, relating to normal service retirement, <br />Section 2.64.110 thereof, relating to disability retirement, Section 2.64.130 thereof, relating to <br />optional form of pension, Section 2.64.140 thereof, relating to employees leaving employment other <br />than by death or retirement, and Section 2.64.150 thereof, relating to reduction of benefits for <br />military disability compensation, and enacting in lieu thereof new sections to be known as "Section <br />2.64.070 Creditable service, "Section 2.64.090 Normal service retirement," "Section 2.64.110 <br />Disability insurance," "Section 2.64.130 Optional form of pension," "Section 2.64.140 Employee <br />leaving employment other than by death or retirement," and "Section 2.64.150 Reduction of <br />disability insurance payments for military disability compensation;" so that said sections, as so <br />amended, shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
