PM-302.7.2 Enclosure around swimming pools: Private swimming pools, ponds, hot tubs <br />and spas, containing water over 18 inches (458 mm) in depth shall be completely surrounded <br />by a fence or guard at least 48 inches (1219 mm) in height above the finished ground level <br />measured on the side of the barrier which faces away fl~om the pool. Gates and doors in such <br />barriers shall be self-closing and self-latching. Where the self-latching device is less than <br />54 inches (1372 mm) above the bottom of the gate, the release mechanism shall be located <br />on thc pool side of thc gate. <br /> <br />Exception: Enclosures, gates and gate latching arrangements that comply with the <br />provisions of the building ende adopted by the City of University City. <br /> <br />PM-302.7.3 Swimming pools: Swimming pools shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary <br />condition and in good repair. <br /> <br />PM-302.8 Motor vehicles: No wrecked, dilapidated, or derelict motor vehicle, or any motor <br />vehicle which does not meet the safety standards for maintenance and operation as provided <br />under the statutes of the State, or any part of such vehicle, shall be stored on the premises: <br /> <br />Exceptions: <br /> <br />Within a fully enclosed building. <br />On the premises of a motor vehicle repair facility within the limitations of a <br />duly issued permit for such repair facility. <br /> <br />PM-302.9 Open storage areas: All open salvage yards and open storage areas shall be <br />completely obscured bom surrounding property and public areas by a solid screen not less <br />than 6 feet (1828 mm) in height. <br /> <br />(SECTION PM-303.0 EXTERIOR STRUCTURE) <br /> <br />PM-303.3 Building Numbers: The officially designated building numbers shall be <br />displayed in arabic numerals not less than 4 inches in height on all premises improved with <br />a building, so that such building number is easily observed and readable fxom the street and <br />from the alley, if an alley adjoins the premises. <br /> <br />Exception: Already existing building numbers in good and visible condition that are <br />2 1/2 inches minimum in height. <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br /> <br />
