2904.6.3 The permittee shall personally perform ail required work. <br /> <br />2904.6.4 Prior to the issuance of a permit under this section, the code official shall determine <br />that the request for a permit complies with the foregoing provisions and that the applicant <br />has the necessary knowledge and ability to perform the proposed work in accordance with <br />code requirements. <br /> <br />2904.6.5 The permit may be revoked by the code official if it is determined that work under <br />the permit is not being properly performed or that the application did not comply or no <br />longer complies with this section. Upon such revocation, the property owner may be <br />required by the code official to proceed immediately to procure a licensed plumber to correct <br />or complete the work. <br /> <br />2904.6.6 This section does not authorize a waiver or modification of any provision of this <br />code or the plumbing code relating to the materials, design, installation or practice of <br />plumbing, drainage or sewers, or to the preparation and approval of plans, or to required fees <br />for permits, inspections or reinspections. <br /> <br />2904.7 License required: No person shall perform any plumbing or drainlaying work unless <br />currently licensed to perform such work as provided in local ordinance. <br /> <br />Exceptions: <br /> <br />2. <br />3. <br />4. <br /> <br />Work, repairs or installations that are specifically exempt from permit requirements. <br />Work performed under a homeowner's permit. <br />Installation or replacement of domestic water heaters. <br />The installation, maintenance, extension or repair of processed drain systems, or <br />piping, drains, drainage systems, or facilities for mechanical manufacturing, <br />industrial processing refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, sprinkler or sprinkling <br />system purposes, or parts, materials, devices or appurtenances in connection <br />therewith or for the utilization or operation thereof, provided, however, final <br />connection of any such system or line to a drainage line containing any form of <br />human waste shall be done by a licensed person as stated herein. <br /> <br />(SECTION 2905.0 WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS) <br /> <br />2905.3 Public water supply: The water distribution system of any building in which plumbing <br />fixtures are installed shall be connected to a public water supply. <br /> <br />2905.6 Location of full open valves: Full-open valves shall be installed on the base of every water <br />r/set pipe. <br /> <br />2905.7 Location of shutoff valves: Shutoff valves shall be installed on the fixture supply to each <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br /> <br />
