August 2, 2002 Text Amendment Ordinance Page 3 of 2I <br /> <br />In addition to other dimensional regulations established elsewhere in this Article, <br />the following dimensional standards shall apply to accessory uses, buildings and <br />structures: <br /> <br />Garages or carports shall not exceed the height of the dwelling or fifteen <br />(15) feet, whichever is less, and shall comply with the required principal <br />building setbacks, except that a garage or carport may be located from the <br />rear lot line by a distance of not less than five (5) feet. Garages located <br />within the rear yard setback shall be used only for the storage of vehicles <br />and household items and shall not be converted into living quarters or any <br />other non-garage uses such as studios or offices. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Accessory structures and uses shall be set back at least five (5) feet from <br />the rear lot line <br /> <br />SECTION 34-30.4 Conditional Uses (in the SR District) <br /> <br />Conversion of existing carriage house into office or studio facilities (as <br />long as the carriage house does not contain both bath and kitchen <br />facilities). <br /> <br />34-106.2 Primary Signs <br /> <br />4. Freestanding Primary Signs: <br /> <br />Each business or institution occupying the ground floor of a premise (and <br />not located within a strip center or shopping center) shall be permitted one <br />(1) freestanding primary sign, not exceeding ten (10) feet in sign height, <br />for each street frontage; except that when the street frontage exceeds three <br />hundred (300) feet, such freestanding sign may be increased in sign height <br />to a maximum of twenty-two (22) feet. <br /> <br />34-106.3 Secondary Signs <br /> <br />5.
