August 2, 2002 Text Amendment Ordinance Page 8 of 21 <br /> <br />23. <br /> <br />To maintain a register and map of designated landmarks and districts and <br />of significant historical, architectural, and archaeological properties. <br />(Ordinance No. 6142, 12/15/98) <br /> <br />34-61.7 Permits Required for New and Replacement Fences <br />A building permit shall be required for the erection of a new fence, a replacement <br />fence or replacement of a section of a fence that is greater than ten (10) feet in <br />length. Minor repairs to sections of existing fences less than ten (10) feet in <br />length shall be considered minor repairs and shall not require permits. <br /> <br />SECTION 34-10: DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Passenger vehicle, private: <br /> <br />Any motor vehicle or motorcycle, other than a commercial vehicle, which <br />does not exceed six and one-half (6-1/2) feet in height (including <br />accessories) and is licensed as a passenger vehicle or motorcycle; or <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />A van or pickup truck, other than a commercial vehicle, which does not <br />exceed six and one-half (6-1/2) feet in height (including accessories) or <br />two hundred sixteen (216) inches in length, has no more than four (4) <br />wheels, and has a gross vehicle weight rating of 6,000 pounds or less <br />according to the ratings published by the manufacturer. Any pickup truck <br />that has been modified by the addition of side boards or side racks shall <br />not be classified as a private passenger vehicle. <br /> <br />SECTION 34-10: DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Recreational equipment, major: Any recreational vehicle or equipment, other <br />than commercial vehicles or equipment, used or designed to be used for camping, <br />travel, or hauling purposes, including but not limited to a motor home, camping <br />trailer, travel trailer, tent trailer, boat trailer, boat, camper body for mounting on a <br />truck, or a container or trailer for storing or transporting camping, travel, <br />recreational, or other equipment, whether occupied by such equipment or not.
