<br />2904.6.2: The dwelling shall be occupied by the permittee. <br /> <br />2904.6.3: The permittee shall personally perform all required work. <br /> <br />2904.6.4: Prior to the issuance of a permit under this section, the building official <br />shall determine that the request for a permit complies with the foregoing provisions <br />and that the applicant has the necessary knowledge and ability to perform the <br />proposed work in accordance with code requirements. <br /> <br />2904.6.5: The permit may be revoked by the building official if it is determined <br />that work under the permit is not being properly performed or that the application <br />did not comply or no longer complies with this section. Upon such revocation, the <br />property owner may be required by the building official to proceed immediately to <br />procure a licensed plumber to correct or complete the work. <br /> <br />2904.6.6: This section does not authorize a waiver or modification of any <br />provision of this code or the plumbing code relating to the materials, design, <br />installation or practice of plumbing, drainage or sewers, or to the preparation and <br />approval of plans, or to required fees for permits, inspections or reinspections. <br /> <br />2904.6.7: Licenses: No person shall perform any plumbing or <br />drainlaying work unless currently licensed to perform such work as provided in local <br />ordinance. <br />Exceptions: <br />1. Work, repairs or installations that are specifically exempt from permit <br />requiremen ts. <br />2. Work performed under a homeowner's permit. <br />3. Installation or replacement of domestic water heaters. <br />4. The installation, maintenance, extension or repair of processed drain systems, or <br />piping, drains, drainage systems, or facilities for mechanical manufacturing, <br />industrial processing refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, sprinkler or sprinkler <br />system purposes, or parts, materials, devices or appurtenances in connection <br />therewith or for the utilization or operation thereof, provided, however, final <br />connection of any such system or line to a water line containing potable water or <br />to a drainage line containing any form of human waste shall be done by a licensed <br />person as stated herein. <br /> <br />(SECTION 2905.0 WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS) <br /> <br />2905.3 Public water supply: The water distribution system of any building in which <br />plumbing fixtures are installed shall be connected to a public water supply. <br /> <br />17 <br />
