<br />80.25 Connection to Electric Supply: (B) Special consideration. By special permission <br />of the authority having jurisdiction, temporary power shall be permitted to be supplied to <br />the premises for specific needs of the construction project. The authority having jurisdiction <br />shall determine what needs are permitted under this provision. <br /> <br />. (C) Notification. Delete in its entirety. <br /> <br />(E) Disconnection. Where a connection is made to an installation that has not been <br />inspected, as outlined in the preceding paragraphs of this section, the supplier of electricity <br />shall immediately report such connection to the authority having jurisdiction. If, upon <br />subsequent inspection, it is found that the installation is not in conformity with the <br />provisions of Article 80, the authority having jurisdiction shall notify the person, firm, or <br />corporation making the installation to rectify the defects and, if such work is not completed <br />within fifteen (15) business days or a longer period as may be specified by the authority <br />having jurisdiction, the authority having jurisdiction shall have authority to cause the <br />disconnection of that portion of the installation that is not in conformity. <br /> <br />80.27 Inspector's Qualifications. Delete in its entirety. <br /> <br />80.29 Liability for Damages. Article 80 shall not be construed to affect the responsibility <br />or liability of any party owning, designing, operating, controlling or installing any electric <br />equipment for damages to persons or property caused by a defect therein, nor shall the City <br />of University City or any of its employees be held as assuming any such liability by reason of <br />the inspection, reinspection, or other examination authorized. <br /> <br />80.35 Effective Date: Delete in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construed so as to relieve any person, fIrm <br />or corporation from any penalty heretofore incurred by the violation of Title 15, nor bar the <br />prosecution for any such violation. <br /> <br />Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this <br />ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1.12, <br />Section 1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. <br /> <br />4 <br />
