<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />"Owner(s)" means any individual who, alone, jointly or severally with <br />others, institution, partnership, corporation or other legal entity that is the <br />record title owner of the property according to the 81. Louis County <br />Recorder of Deeds, and such owner(s) shall be bound to comply with the <br />provisions of this chapter. <br /> <br />"Person" means an individual, corporation, partnership, or other legal <br />entity, who has care custody and possession of the property, including, any <br />owner, lessee or occupant of any lot or premises within the city, and shall <br />include any agent, servant, representative or employee. <br /> <br />"Prohibited solid waste" means solid waste which is not to be placed <br />in any solid waste container and is not to be collected by city, unless <br />otherwise noted herein. Prohibited solid waste includes explosives; highly <br />flammable or dangerous material, including gun powder and photographic <br />plates; substances saturated with inflammable petroleum products: poisons; <br />acids; pathological, biological and infectious wastes; substances which <br />constitute hazardous, toxic or special waste under federal or state laws or <br />regulations; radioactive materials; dead animals; human or animal waste; <br />major appliances, including, but not limited to refrigerators, freezers, stoves, <br />ovens, dishwashers, microwave ovens, air conditioners and television sets; <br />lead-acid automotive, truck or boat batteries; motor oil; tires; wrecked, <br />dilapidated, disabled or derelict motor vehicles; and solid waste generated by <br />contractors; and such other matter as may be designated by the director of <br />public works. Prohibited solid waste also includes solid waste too bulky to <br />fit within the required solid waste container and yard waste, but such solid <br />waste, and other prohibited solid waste as determined by the director of <br />public works, shall be disposed of as provided in this chapter or by <br />regulation of the director of public works. The disposition of prohibited solid <br />waste shall be at the owner's expense unless otherwise allowed. <br /> <br />"Recyclables" means those materials recovered from the waste stream <br />and shall include, but not limited to, newspapers and inserts, telephone <br />books, corrugated cardboard, paperboard, mixed office paper, magazines <br />and catalogues, plastic shopping bags, gift wrap paper, brown paper bags, <br />junk mail, paperback books, aluminum cans, steel food cans, steel aerosol <br />cans, glass bottles (all colors) and No.1, 2,3,4,5, and 7 plastic containers, <br />small consumer electronics, wireless devices, textiles and all other <br /> <br />4 <br />
