<br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />PART II <br /> <br />SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL, GENERALLY. <br /> <br />8.12.100 <br /> <br />Preparation of solid waste for collection. <br /> <br />All solid waste, before being placed in containers for collection, shall have <br />drained from it all liquids. Ashes shall be thoroughly cooled before being <br />placed in a solid waste container. All yard waste shall be separated from <br />all other solid waste and disposed of pursuant to Section 8.12.140. No <br />person shall dispose of human waste except through the sanitary sewer <br />system, except for disposable plastic diapers, which may be placed in solid <br />waste containers if placed in double plastic bags and sealed to prevent <br />offensive odors from escaping there from. No person shall dispose of <br />animal waste in solid waste containers unless placed in double plastic bags <br />and sealed to prevent offensive odors from escaping there from. <br /> <br />8.12.110 <br /> <br />Solid Waste containers-Requirements. <br /> <br />A. All solid waste containers shall be kept clean and closed while <br />storing solid waste and shall be maintained in good condition. Permanent <br />containers shall be leak proof, free of rust, and without ragged or sharp <br />edges or any other defects liable to hamper or injure the person handling the <br />contents thereof. Disposable containers as permitted by the director of public <br />works shall be manufactured of either polyethylene or paper approved and <br />intended for indoor and outdoor storage of solid waste. <br /> <br />B. No person shall damage, destroy, deface, or alter the <br />appearance of any solid waste container. <br /> <br />C. The city shall provide residential solid waste containers, <br />including containers for single-stream recycling, and all solid waste <br />containers provided by the city are and shall remain the property of the city, <br />except as provided under Section 8.12.230 (E) (1). <br /> <br />8.12.120 <br /> <br />Types of solid waste containers--replacement. <br /> <br />A. One to Two Family Residential Buildings. For one and two <br />family buildings, roll-out plastic carts shall be provided for solid waste <br />storage and collections, except where collections are from the alley. Carts <br />shall have a capacity of either sixty (60) or ninety (90) gallons or other size <br /> <br />8 <br />
