<br /> <br /> <br /> Zoning Code Text Amendment for Olive Boulevard Design Guidelines (Zoning and Historic Districts) Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, due notice of a public hearing to be held by the City Council in the City <br /> Council Chambers at City Hall at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2009, was duly published in the St. <br /> Louis Countian, a newspaper of general circulation within University City, Missouri on <br /> December , 2008; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the time and place specified in said notice, <br /> <br /> and all suggestions or objections concerning said amendment were duly heard and considered by <br /> the City Council. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Chapter 34 of the University City Municipal Code of the City of University City, <br /> <br /> Missouri, relating to zoning, is hereby amended by enacting therein new sections to be known as: <br /> 34-30.6(4) ["Other Development Standards" in the "SR" - Single Family Res. District]; 34- <br /> 31.6(4) ["Other Development Standards" in the "LW'- Limited Res. District]; 34-32.6(4) <br /> ["Other Development Standards" in the "MR" - Medium Density Res. District]; 34-33.6(9) <br /> ["Other Development Standards" in the "HR'- High Density Res. District]; 34-34.6(11) ["Other <br /> Development Standards" in the "HRO" - High Density Res./Office District]; 34-35.6(13) <br /> ["Other Development Standards" in the "LC" - Limited Commercial District]; 34-36.6(14) <br /> ["Other Development Standards" in the "GC" - General Commercial District]; 34-37.6(14) <br /> <br /> ["Other Development Standards" in the "CC" - Core Commercial District]; 34-38.6(14) ["Other <br /> Development Standards" in the "IC" - Industrial Commercial District]; 34-39.6(11) ["Other <br /> Development Standards" in the "PA" - Public Activity District]; 34-40.8(14) ["Other <br /> Development Standards" in the "PD" - Planned Development District]; and 34-88.3(3) ["District <br /> Standards" in the Olive Boulevard Historic District]; which shall read as follows (for each of the <br /> above referenced new sections, they shall be written identically as below and be numbered and <br /> codified as listed above; all other subsections of the above referenced sections shall remain as <br /> currently written): <br /> <br /> <br /> In addition to all other requirements and regulations set forth in this chapter, all <br /> new development and substantial redevelopment proposed and planned along the <br /> Olive Boulevard corridor between Skinker Boulevard to the east side of the 1-170 <br /> interchange shall adhere to the guidelines and regulations set forth in the <br /> document known as the "Olive Boulevard Design Guidelines". The guidelines <br /> are a required part of the building permit process.
