This chapter governs the electrical components, equipment and systems used in <br /> buildings and structures covered by this code. Electrical components, equipment and systems <br /> shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the provisions of the Electric Code of <br /> University City. <br /> (CHAPTER 28 MECHANICAL SYSTEMS) <br /> <br /> (SECTION 2801 GENERAL) <br /> <br /> 2801.2 Mechanical code. All mechanical equipment and systems shall be constructed, installed <br /> and maintained in accordance with this chapter and the Mechanical Code of University City. <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 29 PLUMBING SYSTEMS) <br /> <br /> (SECTION 2901 GENERAL) <br /> <br /> 2901.1 Scope. The design and installation of plumbing systems, including sanitary and storm <br /> drainage, sanitary facilities, water supplies and storm water and sewage disposal in buildings, <br /> shall comply with the requirements of this chapter and the Plumbing Code of University City. <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 31 SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION) <br /> <br /> (SECTION 3107 SIGNS) <br /> <br /> 3107.90 New signs. A new sign shall not hereafter be erected, constructed, altered or painted <br /> except as herein provided and not until after a permit has been issued by the building official <br /> with the approval of the zoning administrator. <br /> <br /> 3107.91 Permit Exemption. A permit shall not be required for signs which are exempt from the <br /> provisions of the Zoning Code of University City. <br /> <br /> (SECTION 3190 FLOOD RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION) <br /> <br /> 3190.1 Certified elevations. Any building to be constructed in a flood hazard zone, other than <br /> alterations or additions to existing one- or two-family dwellings, shall have the low sill elevation <br /> certified by a Registered Engineer or Land Surveyor who is licensed in the State of Missouri, <br /> before approval of the required foundation inspection shall be given. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 11 <br />
