Temporary closures permitted under this section shall <br /> consist of not less than 1/2 inch thick weather-resistant plywood coated with approved paint or <br /> protective coating to prevent deterioration, cut to fit within openings, securely nailed or screwed <br /> in place and securely braced. <br /> <br /> (CHAPTER 18 SOILS AND FOUNDATIONS) <br /> <br /> (SECTION 1805 FOOTINGS AND FOUNDATIONS) <br /> <br /> 1805.2.1 Frost Protection. Except where otherwise protected from frost, foundation walls, piers <br /> and other permanent structures shall be protected from frost by one or more of the following <br /> methods: <br /> 1. Extend below the frost line of 30" below grade. <br /> 2. Constructing in accordance with ASCE-32. <br /> 3.
