18. No member, officer, or employee of Municipality, or its designees or <br /> agents, and no other public official of the governing body of the locality in which <br /> the program is situated who exercises any functions or responsibilities with <br /> respect to the program during his tenure or for one year thereafter, shall have any <br /> interest, direct or indirect, in any contract or subcontract, or the proceeds thereof, <br /> for work to be performed in connection with the program assisted under the <br /> Agreement and Supplemental Cooperation Agreements. Municipality shall <br /> incorporate, or cause to be incorporated, in all such contracts or subcontracts, a <br /> provision prohibiting such interest pursuant to the purposes of this section. <br /> 19. County and Municipality agree that the Agreement and all <br /> Supplemental Cooperation Agreements thereto shall remain in effect until <br /> CDBG funds and income received with respect to the three-year qualification <br /> period (and any successive qualification periods) are expended and the funded <br /> activities completed, and that COUNTY and MUNICIPALITY may not <br /> terminate or withdraw from this AGREEMENT while the AGREEMENT <br /> remains in effect. <br /> 20. Pursuant to 24 CFR 570.501(b), Municipality is subject to the same <br /> requirements applicable to subrecipients, including the requirement for a <br /> written agreement set forth in 24 CFR 570.503. <br /> 12 <br />
