It is unlawful and a violation of this Chapter for any person not <br /> having a parking permit issued pursuant to this Chapter to park a vehicle } <br /> in any parking space regulated by this Chapter without there having been <br /> deposited in the parking meter the fee required by this Chapter. In <br /> addition, the right of any vehicle to occupy any space regulated by this <br /> Chapter shall cease if a vehicle occupies the space beyond the expiration <br /> of the lawful time period specified for the space, and it is unlawful and a # <br /> violation of this Chapter for a vehicle to continue to thereafter occupy the <br /> space without depositing the prescribed fee in the controlling meter. <br /> is <br /> C. If a vehicle is parked in a parking space adjacent to or regulated by <br /> a meter, and if: (i) the meter shows that the time for permitted parking has <br /> expired, (ii) the vehicle has displayed a proof of payment receipt issued by <br /> a parking pay station that establishes that the time for permitted parking <br /> has expired, or (iii) the vehicle is parked in a space regulated by a parking <br /> pay station and has not displayed a proof of payment receipt as required <br /> herein, this shall be prima facie evidence that the fee required by this <br /> Chapter for the privilege of parking such a vehicle in such space has not <br /> been deposited in the parking meter. <br /> D. When the City's authorized attendant is on duty at the Municipal <br /> Parking Garage, Parking Lot No. 2 in Zone C, a flat fee of $3.00 will be <br /> imposed on each vehicle upon entering the parking garage, excluding <br /> vehicles parked under a permit issued under this Chapter, according to <br /> the following schedule: <br /> E <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br /> f <br />
