Days Time Period Parking Fee <br /> Wednesday through Thursday 4:00 p.m. until close $3.00 <br /> Friday 3:00 p.m. until close $3.00 <br /> Saturday 2:00 p.m. until close $3.00 <br /> i <br /> 10.48.130 - Installation, maintenance and operation of parking <br /> meters. <br /> A. The city manager or his/her designee is authorized to install and <br /> maintain parking meters along the streets and in other public areas where <br /> the parking of motor vehicles is not prohibited in the parking meter zones <br /> established by this chapter, as is necessary to carry out the purpose and <br /> provisions of this chapter. In exercising such authority, the city manager or <br /> designee shall consider the following criteria: <br /> 1. The physical dimensions of the area where public parking is desired; <br /> 2. The availability of public parking spaces in the affected area; <br /> 3. The current and projected estimates of public parking demands in the <br /> affected area; i <br /> t <br /> 4. The parking needs of residents, businesses and others in the affected <br /> area; <br /> i <br /> 5. The extent of traffic congestion, illegal parking and related health and <br /> safety hazards in the affected area; and ' <br /> 6. The proximity of public transportation to the affected area. <br /> B. In the parking meter zones established by this chapter, parking <br /> meters shall be installed within or near the curb, on the adjacent street, or <br /> on another area adjacent to or near the regulated parking spaces, and <br /> each space shall be regulated by either one meter or by a parking pay <br /> station capable of regulating one or more spaces. The meters in the <br /> parking zones shall be set to operate upon the deposit of the prescribed <br /> fees in the form of moneys of the United States. <br /> C. Each of such meters shall designate the type of money to be <br /> deposited and be arranged so as to show or display a signal, or to print a <br /> proof of payment receipt, indicating when the time limit for which the fee <br /> has been paid in that space has expired. <br /> F <br /> r <br /> Page 6 of 7 <br />
