SECTION THREE. Relocation Assistance. The property within the Area is currently <br /> u <br /> 1 <br /> noccupied. The Plan for the Area provides that no families will be displaced as a result <br /> i i <br /> of the Plan. If the property within the Area should become occupied prior to Plan <br /> completion, all eligible occupants displaced by HFHSL shall be given relocation 1 <br /> assistance by HFHSL at its expense, in accordance with the Plan and all applicable <br /> i <br /> federal, state and local laws, ordinances, regulations and policies. <br /> SECTION FOUR. Tax Abatement. On application, HFHSL shall be eligible to receive <br /> ten (10) years real property tax abatement pursuant to Sections 99.700 to 99.715 of the 1 <br /> LCRA Law. <br /> SECTION FIVE. Plan Modifications. Any proposed modification which will <br /> substantially change the Plan must be approved by the City Council in the same <br /> manner as the Plan was first approved. Modifications that will substantially change the 1` <br /> Plan include, but are not necessarily limited to the length of tax abatement, the <br /> boundaries of the Area, or any other items which alter the nature or intent of the Plan. <br /> The Plan may be otherwise modified (e.g., urban design regulations, development <br /> schedule) in accordance with Chapter 99. <br /> SECTION SIX. Severability. The sections of this Ordinance shall be severable. In <br /> the event that any section of this Ordinance is found by a court of competent jurisdiction I' <br /> to be invalid, the remaining sections of this Ordinance are valid, unless the court finds <br /> the valid sections of the Ordinance are so essential and inseparably connected with and <br /> dependent upon the void section that it cannot be presumed that this City Council would <br /> have enacted the valid sections without the void ones, or unless the court finds that the k <br /> valid sections standing alone are incomplete and are incapable of being executed in <br /> accordance with the legislative intent. <br /> SECTION SEVEN. Effective Date.
