(SECTION R112 BOARD OF APPEALS) <br /> R112.1 General. University City Building Code Section 113 shall be applicable for all <br /> appeals involving this Code. <br /> R112.2 Limitations on authority. Delete in its entirety. <br /> R112.2.1 Determination of substantial improvement in areas prone to flooding. <br /> Delete in its entirety. <br /> R112.2.2 Criteria for issuance of a variance for areas prone to flooding. Delete in <br /> its entirety. k. <br /> R112.3 Qualifications. Delete in its entirety. <br /> R112.4 Administration. Delete in its entirety. <br /> (SECTION R113 VIOLATIONS) <br /> R113.4 Violation penalties. Any person who shall violate a provision of this Code, or <br /> who shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof, or who shall erect, move, <br /> construct, alter, remove, demolish or repair a structure in a manner that is not in <br /> compliance with an approved plan or directive of the Building Official, or of a permit or <br /> certificate issued under the provisions of this Code, or who shall start any work requiring <br /> a permit without first obtaining the permit therefore, or who shall continue any work in or <br /> about a structure after having been served a stop-work order, except such work as that <br /> person has been directed to perform to remove a violation or unsafe condition; or any <br /> owner or tenant of a building or premises, or any other person, who takes part or assists <br /> in any violation of this Code or who has charge of any building, premises, or part thereof <br /> in which such violation shall exist, shall upon conviction thereof be subject to the <br /> penalties provided in Section 1.12.010 of the University City Municipal Code. Each day <br /> that a violation continues after a notice is served shall be deemed a separate offense. <br /> (SECTION R190 QUALIFICATIONS OF CONTRACTORS) <br /> R190.1 Contractor registration. Anyone performing under the scope of this Code is <br /> required to be registered as a contractor with the City of University City. Registrations, <br /> other than homeowner contractors, are for a term of one year and may be renewed per <br /> year thereafter. <br /> R190.1.1 Homeowner contractor registration.
